I have run my 7300 on the net without a firewall or such for some 6 or so
years now - only ever had one virus in all that time. I was reading in a
computer mag recently that running a Windows box on the net you wil be sure
to be infected within 30 minutes

I use my Mac 7300 for the net and everything important, and I have a newish
(Intel 2.8gig/500meg ram etc) for buggerising around - no way I would ever
use it for anything important though.
