Neil,

I have Strata installed along with QT 4.01 and it
works great, there is an update readme on the Strata cd.
As far as the interface, its easy to learn and use. The online
documentation and tutorial is great. I have EditDv Unplugged,
and it was much easier to learn, and a better editor, more transitions,
you can have a "picture in a picture" and somewhat faster at rendering.
It's basically "drag and drop".Titles and text are somewhat basic, but the path editor
does a good job. Video playback is very smooth and the transitions are very smooth.
If you buy XLR8's Interview ( basically a USB based video capture unit ) it comes
with the full version of Strata VideoShop.
