Hi James, One tool I found very useful is "globetrotter" for the mac by akimbo systems in Sommerville, MA. They create cgi scripts automatically based on the form you save. All CGI scripts are both unix PERL and MacPERL compatible...I use perl (not mac perl) and it works flawlessly for me on my unix web server....check it out... http://www.akimbo.com/ -p James Davidson (james_davidson@yes.optus.com.au) wrote: : I will shortly be setting up a web server using Web Star and am : considering installing Mac Perl as a scripting language. : I would appreciate any tips from people who have used this setup : before. : How easy is it to set up? : Any pitfalls to look out for? : How well will it perform on PM7200/120? : Is there an archive of MacPerl cgi scripts? : Any other suggestions for a scripting language? : Any responses would be greatly appreciated. : Thanks in Advance : James
