3.2.1 works just fine on my 9500/120. Dunno whether there's something
funny about the Powerwave.
By the way, if you haven't crashed big time, you don't need a physical
startup disk at all.
1. Turn on RAM disk in your Memory control panel. Set it for 8 or so meg.
2. Restart your machine. The RAM disk will appear on your desktop.
3. Open your System folder, and drag your System, Finder, and System Enabler
[if you've got one] over onto the RAM disk. I also drag the Memory and
Startup Disk control panels over.
4. On the RAM disk, make a new folder named System Folder, and dump everything
into it.
5. Drag Norton Disk Doctor and Speed Disk onto the RAM disk.
6. In your Startup Disk control panel, choose the RAM disk as the startup.
7. Restart the Mac. It'll boot from the RAM disk, and you can Nortonize your
hard drive or drives to your heart's content.
8. When you're done, set Startup Disk back to your boot drive, and restart.
9. Trash the contents of the RAM disk, and turn RAM disk off in the Memory
control panel [you can't turn a RAM disk off if it contains files.]
Look Ma, no diskette!
