🚀 go-pugleaf

I am trying to record bits of songs from a CD to a floppy disc in order 
to load them onto my web page so that viewers of the sight can download 
and play them on their computers.  

I am using a PowerMac 7500 and the SoundMachine application.

I have tinkered and experimented with SoundMachine and cannot figure it 
out.  Does anyone have any expertise in doing this?  Can you tell me how 
to do it?  I am trying to start recording WITHIN the song (not from 
0:00.)  Loading the sound is one of the last few hold ups in getting my 
page online, and I am desperate.

� Please include any other necessary set-up instructions (Chooser 
stuff...) and things you think I probably don't know; I have never done 
this before. 
� Also, what will the html code look like to key to each song bite to?  
� What format do these need to be in (wav, AIFF...)?
� What about compression (how much, use SM to do it)?
� How is the Mac's internal cd player involved if at all?
� Is there a better/easier application than SoundMachine?
