Even simpler:

1. Select the read-me file.
2. Hit return to edit the name (it has an invisible CR character at the
beginning).
3. Hit up arrow to go to the front, right arrow to advance one character,
backspace to delete the CR.
4. Hit return again to accept the new name.

The installer will now work from anywhere.
