The solution is to partition your HD into several volumes, which
Silverlining will do quite nicely.  The reason is that the Mac OS (_any_
version, not just 7.5) treats each volume as if it's composed of 65536
individual blocks, regardless of the volume's size.  The larger the volume,
therefore, the larger the smallest block the system can handle becomes.
