Unfortunately, no.  For reasons unknown, most (but not all) of the lines
in the bookmarks file end with CR CR LF.  The extra CR is essential, and
I have yet to find a text editor that allows it.  :-(  When you try to
use Notepad, for example, you will discover that this sequence "means"
that the line end is "soft".  You can edit all you want, it looks fine,
and then when you *Save* it replaces them all with spaces.  The resulting
mess is unusable in Netscape...  I've wasted a lot of time with this.
