Apple Personal Comms Kit: Any good?

I'm thinking of replacing my Supra 144LC modem (and outdated fax software)
with Apple's Personal Comms Kit for my LC630. Does anyone use the 14.4 or
28.8K versions of this kit? Does it provide reliable comms; is the fax
software any good; and what of the OCR and voice mail bits, worth having?
I assume the 630's power supply can take the plug-in board with ease?

The price of the 14K4 version at PC World in UK is GBP110 (about $165), how
much is it in the USA and how much the 28K8 version? (I can get to a
Computer City real soon...)

Many thanks for your help,

Mike
