I have heard from my friend that he has no problem from Japanese
version of Word(Win95) to English version, if he entered text from
keyboard.

He wrote a English text on Japanese version of Word6, and sent it to
Stanford where someone read it by English version of Word (don't know
the version number). Of course, he did it using native Word document
format. No problems occurred he told me.

On the other hand, I've heard from net that some problem may arise
in this case... Therefore, it may depend on the minor release number
of Word.
