MS Word for Mac 6 is a total disaster. It is, in addition to the compatability problems mentionned by others here, a memory hog. It will also fill your hard disk. I heartily recommend leaving MS Word on the shelf and buying Claris Works 4. This is a really excellent package. The English version supports Japanese Language Kit very well. I regularly do Japanese word Processing with Claris Works. It is very well integrated with a spreadsheet, graphics program, Database. MS Word has found a home in my Mac's Trash can. Jeff Brower
