for the 1e6th time i have closed a window in MS Word and jumped to the desktop
(this is in MultiFinder of course) and found that the file is still locked.

%$@$^%@#$%!!!!

am i doing something stupid??  the manual is (surprise) of no assistance.
why does it keep a file locked even after i've closed it?

save my life, i'm going down for the last time . . .
