Bug in McSink/Vantage or am I jinxed?

McSink or Vantage users,

   there seems to be a major bug in the McSink (and its commercial
version Vantage) software, by Baseline Publishing.  But when I
called the company, they said they were unable to reproduce the bug.
This seems unbelievable since I have been able to reproduce it on
all 7 different configurations of Macs I have tried it on.  If
anyone has experienced the same bug, or has found a solution, could
you please tell me by E-Mail.

how to reveal the bug:
- use either McSink or Vantage (with word wrap DISABLED in Vantage)
- get a standard text file of > 100 lines, with no line wrapping
- use a screen size of 36 lines, with font Monaco 9pts
- number the lines, starting with 1, increment of 1
- select lines 1 to 40
- scroll down so that lines 11 to 46 show on the screen
  (lines 11 to 40 will be selected, lines 41 to 46 will not be)
- press the DELETE key
-> you should now experience a screen refresh problem: instead of
   lines 41-76 being displayed, you will have 41-50,61-76 + 10 blank
   lines at the bottom.  Selecting the text will make the lines
   reappear!!!

I would like to think that I am not jinxed, and that this bug does
