Does anyone know of an Overseas or Domestic Manufacturer that makes a very,
very Powerful Chinese Word Processor software for the Mac? The software
should
be compatible with all Macintosh Products (Powerbook, Quadra, MacII, etc...).
It is preferred to have the capability of translating English into Chinese and
vice versa. WYSIWYG is a must. Please let me know how to contact the
manufacturer. Thanks for your help!

Apple makes a product called Chinese Talk II, the main part of which is a
program called Dynamic Keys. With Dynamic Keys, you can type in Chinese fonts
(I think it comes with 6 different fonts, all traditional characters) that will
go into any word processor (theoretically - I know it works with Word 5.0).
You type the word in pinyin, a box selection of characters with that
romanization shows up, and you click on the one you want. It's not the
fastest method around, but it works. You might call Apple about it - I think
their Taiwan division markets it, but Apple, USA should be able to tell you
about it...
