OK, I'm finally fed up with this.  Everybody wants ATM 3.0, right??  ATM is
supposedly "free" and the $7.50 is only for shipping and handling?  Why in
the _hell_ don't they distribute ATM electronically??  You know, FTP, BBS, etc.
I mean, ATM _is_ going to be implemented in System 7.x (or 8, sooner or later,
I hope).  Why waste all that paper and packaging, pollute the air with 1000
UPS trucks delivering ATM to everybody with Macs, hire people to answer the
phone, pay to have an 800 # to order ATM, anger people by making them wait
2-3 weeks for 3.0 (and then they get 2.03...), etc., etc.

What's the point??  Did I miss something??  I've been following this ATM
post pretty regularly, and all I read about is "What's the 800 #?", "Is
that for ATM 2.03 or 3.0?", "Can you order ATM 3.0 with the same 800#?",
"All I got was version 2.03...", "Did anybody get 3.0", and on and on and on...

Call me stupid, but I just don't get it.

BTW, could you imagine if Apple did the same thing with QuickTime 1.5.... :)

P.S.  And one more thing....why the _fuck_ didn't I get Palatino TT with my
StyleWriter???  Huh?  Why?  And why isn't it freely available??  I heard
it's included in System 7.1.  And why isn't System 7.1 free?? :)  And why
doesn't Apple give me a Quadra 950??  And....why ask why??  And....Nothing
outlasts the Energizer battery.  It keeps going and going and .....
