Actually, I know of at least two bugs that have been fixed in the various
silent releases of Quicken 3.0.

Early versions had problems if you asked it to update the date on the check
to "todays date" when printing.

One bug involved checks that were linked to other accounts (such as a check
to pay your credit card bill). When the check
was printed, only the date in the check register was updated. The linked
transaction in the other account was not updated. This half broke the link
and got Quicken confused.

Another bug with the "change to today's date" option involved having
multiple checks to print, each with an old date. After printing each
check, Quicken
would re-order the fonts to reflect the new check date. Unfortunately part
of the check printing code didn't know that the checks were being re-ordered
and was working with stale pointers. The result was an on-screen error
message,
and a check register where the check numbers do not match the checks printed.

Both of these problems seem to be fixed by release 3.0r6a. I do not know what
has been fixed in later releases.
