I have several MacPaint files whose pictures I want to include in a LaTeX document on a UNIX system (don't ask me why :-). On our UNIX system you can print a LaTeX document with `dvips' to include Encapsulated PostScript files. Is there a way to convert MacPaint files (or SuperPaint files, for that matter) to Encapsulated PostScript files (EPSF)? I scanned the FAQ for comp.sys.mac. (on Sumex in report/). It only tells me how to print to disk, thereby generating a PostScript file. Does this file conform to EPSF? Will it print correctly when processed on a non-Macintosh?
