Is anyone out there using DesignCAD for 3D modeling.

I read the review in MacWorld, Nov. 1992, p. 159, and would like
additional opinions.

Particularly, I need a program that can read a text data file
describing a object and then display it, which several programs can
do, but which are the best for plain 3D CAD modeling. I don't
the fancy stuff like mapping textures onto surfaces, or bump modeling, etc.
