In article <1991Apr10.140028.13084@jarvis.csri.toronto.edu> ian@dgp.toronto.edu (Ian S. Small) writes: What I need is PICT2 -> some reasonable format, taking account of the colour map information. I'd rather have the app run on the Unix side, but Mac end stuff would be okay to. I'm prepared to handle multi-step stuff as well (i.e. SDSC supposedly handles GIF, so if I could get PICT2->GIF, that might be enough - of course, how well SDSC handles GIF is unknown to me at this point). The Macintosh application GIFConverter will convert between PICT, PICT2, TIFF, GIF, and a few other formats. It's shareware, and available on Compuserve, America Online, etc. -- Steve Baumgarten | "New York... when civilization falls apart, Davis Polk & Wardwell | remember, we were way ahead of you." baumgart@esquire.dpw.com | cmcl2!esquire!baumgart | - David Letterman
