I'm working for an organization that has a 3200K database in Omnis 3 format.
They have a 1985 version on Omnis, which works well enough on the Mac+,
plus dies on more recent machines. I have been asked to find an update
to Omnis or to convert the file to some format that a more recent database
program can read.
I therefore have two questions:
1) Does Blythe software sitll exist? I can't find them. If not, has some-
body else purchased the package? Who is supporting it?
2) In any case, does anybody have any information about the Omnis 3 file
format? I've poked around with a sector editor and everything looks
straight-forward except "number" fields, which are strangely encoded.
Thanks greatly for your help.
