While reading article <1992Dec21.211405.22038@cs.cornell.edu>, I noticed that tedcrane@cs.cornell.edu (Ted Crane) said the following: >Is ATM 3.0 == SuperATM? No. ATM 3.0 (the version recommended for 7.1, required if you want to keep your fonts in the System Folder's "Fonts" folder and don't want to hack ATM with ResEdit) handles Adobe's Multiple Master fonts. "SuperATM" will be able to synthesize more or less "FPO" versions of various fonts based on some type of outline database and won't be available until (I believe) mid-1993. BTW: I'm not sure if I've been lucky or what, but I've NEVER, EVER had to wait more than five or ten minutes to speak with a real live human in Adobe's Customer or Technical Support departments... -- | William Kucharski, Solbourne Computer, Inc. | Opinions expressed above | Internet: kucharsk@solbourne.com Ham: N0OKQ | are MINE alone, not those | Snail Mail: 1900 Pike Road, Longmont, CO 80501 | of Solbourne Computer, Inc. | President, "Just the Ten of Us" Fan Club | "Dittos from Longmont, CO"
