For those of you using WriteNow: We've encountered a bug that corrupted files in WriteNow 3.0. T/Maker put some real effort into helping us, and now believes that the cause lies with locked documents that were created on machines with a different list of fonts. (We create several letterhead and standard report documents and then distribute them locked to our users so that they don't change them by accident. We'd make them into "stationery pads", but most of our users have SE's, and so are still on System 6.) T/Maker has been very helpful on this problem, and on a previous difficulty where something changed with the new version of WriteNow (the clipping area for headers and footers was enforced on printing, which it hadn't before--we're doing some tinkering with Postscript in the headers and footers, and so it broke). So, despite this rather obscure bug, I continue to recommend both T/Maker and WriteNow. .../dave Dave Charlesworth
