Hi, I need a text editor that can "Publish"[1] in its native format (i.e. with format and font information intact.) I've only ever seen "Publishers" which use plain-text format. Is there a text editor that can do this? Why? Quark X-Press can translate "Subscribers" using the same filters it uses for "Import."[2] One could modify text from within Quark, but one runs the risk of screwing up the whole layout; therefore, it would be nice to use a nice simple text editor for the text, and just use a "pointer" from the Quark document to the text. Leave Quark to the Art department. Joel [1] "Publish" in the sense of "System 7 Publish/Subscribe" [2] Using the TextLinker X-Tension from NPath Software
