I have always used Smartkeys 2.1 with system 6.07 without difficulty. I am now
using 6.07 on my internal hard drive and 7.0 with tuneup 1.1.1 on my external.
I have put Smartkeys into the system folder on the external drive. It loaded
correctly and its icon appeared on the screen at startup. I configured
Smartkeys to be active in Word 5.0 and a few other programs.  However,
Smartkeys does not activate. The only difference I have noticed between 6.07
and 7  is that in the setup box in 6.07 the active applications are preceded
by the application icon whereas in 7 the application just states Microsoft
Word, without any icon in front. The explanatory text that comes with
Smartkeys states it is system 7 compatible. Anyone have any suggestions that
might enable me to use one of my favorite little programs.
