  Hi. I just downloaded maclayers and this program is great. But there are a
few problems I cannot correct myself, so I need some help.

The problem is simple: I have a Mac LC with system 7 with 2 megs of RAM.
When I enter maclayers and dial into the university unix system and enter
layers mode, the program works fine. It is when I close a window(thus aborting
that process shell) the whole layers mode freezes. Nothing I do will change 
this except when I abort the layers mode. When I do this the terminal is still
frozen and I was forced to do a cntrl-c (break) which then gives me power
to use the terminal again. I must add that during the installation of this
program(on the unix side), the last part of it failed.. this was when the 
installation process tried to modify the utmp file in the root directory. 
Could this be a result of the errors.
