My problem with these editors is that they are not very good for text files that use paragraph formatting, as most Mac created files will. I want to view all text in Monaco 9, and have the text wrap at the window boundary. Most (or all that I have seen) text editors allow you to wrap at a specified column, or even the window, but this is another step and must be manually done both at startup and every time you resize the window. This defeats the drag-n-drop convenience for me. I have a hacked TeachText that is OK, but it sometimes gets confused and displays Geneva 12 with Monaco 9 spacing! Also, there is the stadard 32K size limit. What we really need is a special purpose, *extremely* fast text viewer that has been specifically created for that purpose. (Or a TeachText with a "Font" preference would make me just as happy...)
