I thought my prayers were answered when I saw Rick McCormack's note on shaping
boxes in PageMaker 3 but alas, it doesn't work.
not in pagemaker 4.2.

The problem concerns the use of 4.2 in an office to which the software is
actually registered, but the manual has gone bye-bye (it went away with the
employee who purchased the software for the office.) The user has a desperate
desire to make graphic boxes that are not boxes, either for wrapping text
around or fitting text in. I admit I have tried everything I can think of and
can't get PM to place a graphic box that is not a rectangle, nor can I reshape
the box once placed into anything other than a rectangle. I know PM must have
this capability, since one of the options for wrapping text is to wrap it
around an irregular boundary -- I have never been able to select this option.

I won't bore you with the sys. config. since I don't think there's a problem
with anything beyond my (or anyone else in the office's) inability to figure
out how to do it.
