It had better be a VERY nice program. People are pretty disgusted with the
unending delays. As recently as MacWorld in August I was told "winter".

Microsoft has been very busy improving Word. They had a demo of the latest
version at the local Mac user group just yesterday. They offered $99 copies
to people attending the demo.

They've also recently improved Excel and Works. Also, they seem to be serious
when they ask for user input on what they should be doing.

Claris has been utterly inept. They've let Microsoft walk away with the high
end word processor market. Microsoft already totally owns spreadsheets and is
making another attempt at the integrated software market.

In my wildest dreams, heads rolled at Claris over the MacWrite fiasco. A more
likely scenario is that competent people left or were fired and bozos were
rewarded with promotions.
