Recently a host of diagnostic utilities has come on the scene, such as Snooper
and MacEKG. Which of these programs do you all recommend for helping to
diagnose hardware/software problems? Can they really help, or are they just
not useful for spotting such problems as bad/marginal RAM, hard disks, other
hardware? I always found that things like the "Advanced Diagnostics" disk for
IBM PCs never told me anything that I didn't already no - problem or no problem.
Is this true for these types of Mac programs as well?

Please respond by email, I will post a summary if there is interest.
