og@access.digex.com (Gary Goldberg) writes: : Just yesterday I installed (4) 4MB SIMMs in my IIcx, for a total of 20. : I put the new simms in Bank A. Now, when I launch VersaTerm Pro 3.5, it : crashes immediately and consistantly with a Bad F-Line Instruction. But : if I load an app set to take 16 MB first, then launch VersaTerm, all is : fine. I'm using Mode32 and have set 32Bit Addressing ON. I am not using : virtual memory in this S7.1 equipped IIcx. Any thoughts on this? - Gary : : -- : - Gary Goldberg og@access.digex.com Bowie, MD KA3ZYW : I've had the same problem too. It appears to be that Versaterm (except the new version) is not 32-bit compatibel. I alwasy had to turn 32 bit of before starting Versaterm. I'm now using Versaterm 4.62 and have no more problems. etienne -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Etienne Bido || ebido@bio.vu.nl Vrye Universiteit || bido@chem.vu.nl Amsterdam Holland
