I am writing a technical document in outline form using Word 5.1 on a Mac IIci.
What I want to do is indent the various sections of the document like this:

I alks

alskfjalskjfalskf alskfjalsjkf laksjflk alskjfalskfj aslkfj aslkfjaslkj
alskf alsk skjsk sk sk skfjalj aslfkja lksjdfkja aslkfj alksj skjask a
eslk alski lkjdiw dsfiwi diwiiw didis wklej wie eiiw slkw iesie esis b

   2. alksj

aslkj alsfjla alsdfjal alsdkfjkl alsdkfj aslkfj alsk aslkjas skj ak
kjsdl aslkdf iidk iwisj wisks qiwi wiqi nfsks wns sljf ljwj ansk bk

I want to set up the entire document so that indents will be placed every
.75 inch along the ruler. I see who to make an index for a particular
paragraph, but how do I set up the document so that every paragraph can be
indented to the nearest .75" just by pressing the tab. I tried moving the
indent marker by hand, but it just moves. I really want to copy the marker.
This way, I won't need to set up each individual paragraphy or use styles.

Any help will be appreciated
