I need some advice on the operation of MS Project V3.0. I am using the tool to track 20 different tasks that are not linked to each other but do draw on the same resources (people). The idea was to estimate the total cost of each task while identifying over and under allocation of the people in the section. Establishing the project was fairly easy. But when it came to making changes to resource commitments the program started to produce numerous unexpected and illogical results. If you believe you can help me, and can spare the time to do so please email your phone number to me and I'll give you a call in the new year. Everyone else in the office has the same problem so I'm on the verge of buying MACPROJECT from Claris just to see if it is easier.s easier to use. But before turning my back on MS, I am willing to give it one more shot.
