I am looking for recommendations for a graphing program with GOOD real-time manipulation capabilities. Specifically I need an application to rapidly plot data generated in a meeting/seminar environment, and then quickly access and zoom in on areas of interest, or information regarding data points. Most graph programs I have seen are very awkward when it comes to manipulating graphs and charts in front of meetings. For example a plot can be generated rather quickly using Excel, but to zoom in on one particular area, both scales must be altered through a series of dialog boxes, and there is no straightforward way to select a data point and access it label, or location on the chart. A nice interactive way to do these would be with some kind of "select" tool which grabs an area of the chart and immediately zooms in on that area alone. I'm not sure that an application exists with the qualities I'm looking for, but any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
