HELP! how 2 recover StuffIt Pword????

Here's a question for all you breakers out there-is there a way to recover a
password for a StuffIt deluxe archive?  I've got some vital stuff locked away
in an archive here, and I can't unlock it!  Aaaaargh!  It's pretty important
stuff, which I need for the coming semester.  Slap me in the face for not
having an unprotected backup, but there it is...

Anyone know how to either...

a: remove passwording via ResEdit or MacSnoop (Mr Rosenthal?)
or
b: recover the password using ResEdit or MacSnoop

Please help!!!!
