screen saves and system 7

We are doing screen saves, importing them into word perfect, and then 
importing that document into Microsoft Word.  All of this is done on 
a Mac IICI under system 7.  However, it appears that only machines
with System 7 running can view the pictures within the document.  The
text appears fun, but the pictures appear as a big blank.  The other
system 6.0.7.

is this a system 7 phenomenon??? help....
