I have posted this message to several newsgroups twice and haven't drawn a
single response - not even the obvious one of checking that Java is enabled
in IE preferences (it is). I'm really stumped with this and it's messing up
my browsing badly. Can someone help?

Here it is again:

I keep getting messages from Internet Explorer that I need MRJ 2.1 or higher
to run Java inside Internet Explorer. I downloaded and reinstalled Mac OS
Runtime for Java 2.5.5 but I still get the messages and can't view webpages
involving Java. What am I doing wrong?

OS 9.1 on PowerWave 150 with PowerLogix G3 366.
