Does anyone know if the new iMovie 2.01 would support PAL based MiniDV devices? -- Weiyun [Remove the obvious for email replies]

I agree and knows that 1.0.2 supports PAL. But the present release of 2.0.1 may be NTSC only. Maybe there's an international version that hasn't got released yet... Is this true? -- Weiyun [Remove the obvious for email replies]

The guy from Apple at the Melbourne User Group meeting said there were some "Localisation Issues" with IMovie 2 but only regarding documentation. I'd hold off until the local release. The Demo looked pretty good though for the price.

No personal experience there. Sorry. I personally can't tell you if iMovie supports it directly, but you can use quicktime 4 (the paid-up version) to export flash animations to whatever other format (including DV, which will work with iMovie if you put it in your media folder.) Quicktime Pro I think is a really good investment if you want to mix up different movie formats... it's *pretty* easy, *pretty* powerful, and *REALLY* cheap. Yay quicktime. -matty Don Mcormick wrote: > > W Yu > > Do you know if iMovie 2.01 will import Flash or Director clips? > > Thanks > > Don McCormick > > W Yu wrote: > > > Further to my experience, iMovie2.01 US release does work with PAL.
