After installing the 4.0.4 upgrade for BBEdit, I cannot get it to stop
crashing.  Even after doing a clean install with AND without the upgrade
(twice).

It is not the Claris XTND bug. (all disabled)
It is not the Internet Config v 1 clash. (ver. 1.3 in use)

I thought I had found the answer when I noticed that the installer had
added IceTee extension in parallel with my ICeTEe 2 extension, but removing
the first to leave the second has not fixed the poblem.

On the same day I installed Microsoft Internet Explorer which did wierd
things to my internet config settings.  But I have removed that and
re-installed internet config.

I have emailed barebones tech support but still waiting.

Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

What are the circumstances of the crash?  Does the crash still occur when
you boot without extensions?
