EndNote question (bug?)

I am using EndNote 1.2.1 to format a document created with Microsot Word 4.0. The document is formatted as expected except that a citation I have placed in a footnote is missed by EndNote and thus, the reference is not added to the reference list. Is this a known bug in this version of EndNote, is there some work around this problem (besides manually searching for all citations in footnotes), and is there a fixed version of EndNote that already fixes this problem and I should know about? It's easy to keep track of (Author, Date) cites in footnotes, but very difficult to get the numeric sequence, which is why we haven't done it yet. We are working on it. -- -- Help me justify my online bills: ask me EndNote questions, please! -- Avi Rappoport 2000 Hearst, Berkeley, CA 94709 nilesinc@well.sf.ca.us, 415-655-6666 Niles.Assoc on AppleLink fax: 415-649-8179
