Egads, you should be using FileMaker Pro 1.0 already! It's much better than
FileMaker II (which is unsupported, by the way). THe files can get a bit
large, but you can save compressed copies every once and a while. You also
can't compare FileMaker Pro to Panorama since Panorama is a RAM-resident
database. In other words, it's cool, but it has some serious limitations
that FM doesn't. Another reason why FM files are so big are from the
indexing. Panorama just doesnt index as much as FM (which is not a minus).

I suggest that you get away from FileMaker II as soon as possible and run
out and get FM Pro 2.0 as soon as it hits the stores. It looks _really_
cool.
