  I just wanted to get answers to two questions I have in mind:
  1) For how many platforms do there exist DAL servers? (I summarise,
    if needed)
  2) Is there any product with which one could connect to SQLBase db's
    (you know the db server from Gupta)? Or an alternative question:
    What products are there with which you can build client-server type
    database applications? (I summarise, if at least two answers appear:-)
