There is also a new site at bu.edu (/mac/4d) - the README.FIRST file follows.
Currently, it has the balloon help file that goes in the Preferences
folder for version 3.0 (help includes command syntax in the procedure
editor), and a few other textual items. It's being set up on a trial
basis. The other site that I know of is 'ftp.scri.fsu.edu' (/pub/4d).

Info from bu.edu 4d site:
ftp> get README.FIRST -

The 4th Dimension anonymous ftp site at bu.edu is being set up on a
six-month trial basis for NON-COMMERCIAL use. Anything posted must be
free of charge.
