After doing my first project with 4th Dimension, I noticed that my databases has more than 40 layouts!!! Is that normal? How do you control the consistency for all the layouts? I find it difficult to even copy and paste between similar layouts becuase every field has unique scripts/lists/manditory options which should not be in other layouts. The entry order gets messed up, etc...so the gui is a very nasty thing to deal with. How do you people deal/reduce the amount problems with GUIs? Just for the sake of curiousity, what other problems should I watch out for when modifying GUIs? Dave
