Excel 4.0 question

Does anyone know any possible way to create an excel spreadsheet with
different levels of security. I need to create a spreadsheet that has 10
different passwords, each with its own level of security. For example,
someone with a level 1 security is only able to edit the first column of
cells, but he/she can see all the other cells.
I have already created this program using FM 2.0, but my boss needs me
to recreate the program in Excel. Is this possible?, and if it is
possible, does anyone know how to do it?

Any help would be appreciated.
