Is there any way to limit passworded users from accessing FMP2.0
program elements? For example, I locked our data entry people out of
making layout changes, but they can still get themselves into layout mode
and get stuck there. I'd like to prevent them from touching the "Browse,
Find, Preview, Layout" pullup, the status area toggle, the magnify up and
down boxes, and the zoom window box (upper right corner).
Also, is there an easy way to attach a sound byte to a script? I'd like
to have a voice announce an on-screen button when pressed, and do some voice
prompting. So far I've done it by storing the sound bytes in a another
file (as picture/sound fields) and subscripting out to that file to a script
that does a "go to layout - select/play". It works, but it takes about 4
seconds to play a 1 second phrase.
Thanks much,
