I'm posting this for a friend of mine who doesn't have access to the internet: You can send your answers to this news group or the the address shown at the end of this message. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have 4D 2.0 and a Mac CLassic with system 6.0.7 The Mac is just being used for running *one* 4D application and some basic word processing (Word 4.0) I would say that 95 % of the time it is being used in the 4D application. There are no actual plans to run or develop any other applications at least for a while. I'm about to sell my Classic and buy a Mac Classic II. I want to know if 4D 2.0 runs OK under system 7. Do I really *need* to buy the upgrade to 4D (2.2.2)? I really don't want to spend money now if 4D 2.0 will work as it's been working so far under system 6.0.8. May be later if I decide to take advantage of some of the system 7 features I'll buy the upgrade. I'm still going to be using the Mac most of the time for running that application that I've been using so far. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ David Garza garza@cs.colostate.edu
