Looking for some filemaker pro example files that show off the
capabilities of this program. 
Good examples showing some of the obscure things it can do would be nice!!
Do you know where to find any ?

You might try contacting Claris.  They are distributing a package called 'Pro 
Pack' which contains templates, scripts, and examples for most of their 
products including FileMaker Pro.  The package is either free or available at
nominal expense.
