Email and database question from an amatuer

Please tell me either how to set up a Eudora like application that would
allow me to compile a large list of email addresses and then send out a
mass mailing to them all at once. I want to be able to add addresses to
the list with ease. I am familiar with making a nickname to represent all
of the addresses but I need database capabilities also in the program for
easy changes. In short, I would like the best program to construct a large
mailing list of email addresses. Maybe you could send me the address of
the guy who designed Eudora? Any help or sense of direction would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Brennan

Brennan, interesting that you should ask that question just now. There has
been a similar thread in comp.sys.mac.comm. If you are using Eudora and a
Unix host, you can use the Ph facility of Eudora to do *exactly* what you
want. Do you have the Eudora Q&A stack? If not, I suggest you get it. Steve
Dorner is the author, If you have Eudora, you have his address. Also I
believe there is a list server dealing with Eudora isuues. Hope this helps.
