Hi All

This is to inform you that I have finally finished my scrolling list
external for Foxbase. Those of you who requested a copy should receive
it shortly by email.

If you missed the earlier message, I have written a scrolling list external
for FoxBase+/Mac to overcome a few problems:
1) restricted array size due to 64kb memory limit
2) slow loading arrays in fox loop
3) can't easily do multiple selection
4) can't page up/down scrolling lists
5) can't navigate scrolling lists by typing 1st few letters of entry.

The external lets you maintain a set of arrays limited only by application
memory (ie: as big as you like). It has been tested extensively over the past
two months in a retail accounting application, university helpdesk and my
current project, which uses nearly 30 separate arrays, loaded for the life of
the program.

I am asking a shareware fee for the software and will be willing to make the
source code available, although much of the scrolling stuff depends on the
Bag of Tricks library from DataPak software (an EXCELLENT C library).

If you have any questions about the development of XCMDs, or the use of the
Bag of Tricks library in a code resource, please feel free to ask!

BTW I also produced an XCMD that gives you double-clickable BROWSE windows
and lets you convert Return to Tab so you can SET STRICT ON and have the
Tab and Return keys move through fields, with Enter terminating a read.
