Can FileMaker Pro export files in a format that can be used by Word 5
as a mail merge file? If someone is doing this, could you please let
me know the proper technique? Thanks!

Just don't get bitten by the bug.  Remember that, upon opening the "Export"
dialog, you have < 2 seconds to select from the pop-up menu before it
freezes and won't let you play.  Very frustrating until some KIND soul
posted here about it.  I thought I only had the choice of "Tab Delimited Text"
for the longest time ;-)

    I have seen a number of posts on this in the last couple of months,
but in the 2+ years I have been using FM Pro, I have never come across
this bug. Is it a conflict with something? Does anyone know under what
circumstances this bug manifests itself? I would really like to know
since I have use FM Pro on 6 different Macs, from an SE up to a Quadra
950 and never had this problem.
